We love the EBE Cloud-based system with public-facing calendar views, detailed event booking life-cycle tracking, customizable templates/forms for proposals, contracts, documents and an array of attachments! The onboarding and customization process was extremely well-supported, with special functionality added for our specific needs. The company stands behind this product, answers every question as soon as possible, and worked with us directly, day and night, whenever there were questions. They really stood behind the system in order to make it great for us.
Reasons for Selecting Event Booking Engines: Most systems were too much for what we need and too expensive based on billing model - a great deal of our venues and rooms are booked by the public for free, so volume or # of events-based pricing models can't work for us. Several other products could not give us a public-facing calendar that we didn't have to customize or pay additional plug-in fees for. The EBE team worked with our specific situation every step of the way, and still is.
Reasons for Switching to Event Booking Engines: Our old system had no web interface, no public-facing calendar and it was extremely expensive. A 2 year, very expensive upgrade process yielded an incomplete, unsupported system that staff was not willing or able to use. There was next to no client IT support, no configuration support, and charges were unreasonable.
